Go Classic for Fall Fundraising: Host a Fall Festival

Fall has quickly become America’s favorite season. Between the pumpkin spiced lattes, cozy sweater weather, and little kids running around in costumes it just puts everyone in a good mood! Capitalize on these happy vibes and plan a Fall Festival for your next fundraising event! Here are some ideas to kick off your fundraising right:

Location, Location, Location

Whether you pick a local school, church or apple orchard make sure your venue has both indoor and outdoor space. Fall weather can be beautiful, but rain will spoil the fun!

Fall Treats

Make sure to take advantage of all the yummy fall treats people love so much. Sell candy apples, cider donuts, and pumpkin spiced anything and people will be more than happy to donate! Add a pie baking contest for extra fun. Contestants pay a small fee to enter and are judged by a panel of local “celebrities”. Offer slices of the pies for sale after the winner is announced!

Family Friendly Activities

Offer plenty of activities for kids. Sell tickets to play classic carnival games or rent a bouncy house. Have guests pay a small fee to paint a pumpkin to bring home with them or enter in a pumpkin decorating contest! Encourage kids to wear their Halloween costumes, or participate in favorite fall activities like sack races and bobbing for apples.

Scare Them!

Kids aren’t the only ones who like to have fun! Set up a haunted house for your older guests to enjoy and extend your festival into the evening hours.

A Fall Festival is a classic autumn event and a super fun way to raise money for your organization. Take advantage of the great weather, delicious food and fun activities this season has to offer. For more ideas on fundraising in all seasons contact us today!
